In Chicago, students smile in front of Cloud Gate, more widely know as "The Bean".

Sending your child on a school trip can feel nerve-wracking — that’s why we take great pride in ensuring your student is safe, cared for, and inspired to learn at every step of the journey.

From experienced tour guides to trusted chaperones, every detail of our trips is carefully managed so students (and parents) can enjoy a safe, fun, and rewarding learning experience.

We know you might have a few questions about what’s in store for your child — here some of the most frequently asked questions from parents and guardians.

Q: How do you ensure student safety on tours?

A: Your child’s safety is our top priority. We provide trusted overnight security at each hotel, ensuring students are safe throughout the night. We also partner only with reputable vendors and suppliers, and our team takes careful attendance each time students re-enter the bus or move between activities.

Q: What is included in the cost of the trip?

A: Trip inclusions are customized based on the specific needs of each school, but they often include meals, transportation, accommodations, and tour activities.

Q: What happens if my child gets sick or injured?

A: In coordination with the school, parents or guardians will be notified immediately, and any necessary steps will be taken to ensure your child’s safety and recovery.

Q: What if my child needs medication during the trip?

A: Medication is monitored and managed by the school throughout the tour. We recommend keeping any vital medications, such as EpiPens or inhalers, accessible on the bus, as luggage stored underneath will not be easily reachable during travel.

Q: How do you accommodate allergies or dietary restrictions?

A: About 45 days prior to your tour, you’ll receive a survey asking about allergies or dietary needs. We use this information to plan meals and restaurant experiences that meet each student’s requirements.

Q: What is the rooming situation?

A: Rooming arrangements differ by school. Typically, the school provides us with a designated rooming list. Please reach out to your school group leader for specific details about your child’s accommodations.

Q: What is the dress code?

A: Students should follow their school’s dress code and dress in layers for changing weather. Check the forecast in the week leading up to your trip. We also recommend packing one formal outfit in case of special events or dinners. Students will be notified of any specific clothing needs prior to departure.

Q: Are scholarships available?

A: Please inquire with your account manager to see if any scholarship opportunities are available for your school. We’re also happy to provide fundraising tips and suggestions.

Q: How can I stay in touch with my child during the tour?

A: Check with your group leader regarding phone policies. While phones are great for photos and staying connected, we encourage students to stay engaged in the moment and immerse themselves in the learning experience.

Q: How can I get involved?

A: Reach out to your school to learn about volunteer or support opportunities. Some trips need chaperones or fundraising help, and many schools enjoy coordinating matching t-shirts for easy group visibility (and a fun keepsake!).
