BONUS HIGHLIGHT: The Bean (Cloud Gate)

Of course, no trip to Chicago would be complete without snapping photos at the Bean—officially known as Cloud Gate. While it’s one of the city’s most famous landmarks, it's also a fascinating blend of science, engineering, and art. Constructed from 168 stainless steel plates, each piece was precisely cut with a computer and then welded together to create a seamless, mirror-like surface.
